Session 2 — Clap Racing and Sensor Games

Opening concept: What Edison can sense determines what it can do.

Activity:

  • EdBlocks Activities 2–3: clap control (student sheet), then obstacle avoidance
  • Race setup: clap race on EdMat track. Best time wins.
  • Sumo tournament with the sumo barcode (Activity 7)
  • Debrief: what would you change about the obstacle avoidance if you could reprogram it?
