Session 2 — EdScratch: Move It

Activity:

  • EdBlocks track: Activities 17–19 (obstacle + border sensors)
  • EdScratch track: Unit 2 (Move It) — driving, outputs, motor control in Scratch environment
  • Both tracks: challenge of the day is the same — program Edison to drive a specific path and stop at a line
  • Compare approaches: how is EdScratch’s code different from EdBlocks for the same task?

Materials: Devices, USB cables, EdScratch student sheets Unit 2, EdBlocks student sheets 17–19
